we attended the annual Gallatin Valley Backcountry Horsemen's Poker Ride held at Bridger Bowl Ski area.
I asked the gals in the registration tent if it was ok to ride a donkey on the ride, they seemed surprised and said it was ok! One lady even said ' I didnt know you could ride a donkey!'

There were so many trailers! This chapter is so much bigger than my old one, its really a great thing! I didn't know anyone!
Rocky seemed motivated by the other horses and we were able to go 2.63miles in an hour!
there was a medium sized creek crossing at the end of this section and it took us three attempts before Daisy would cross it. Which means I had to stand in the creek three times lol, so thankful for waterproof riding boots!
The trail was very steep, narrow, and muddy after this. We had to stop numerous times to catch our breath (I was still on foot).
