Rode/hiked three miles in the forest. I was switching donkeys about every 5-10 minutes, so they both got a bit of a work out, I hiked in for the first leg.  It was fun! other than both of them wanting to eat grass the ENTIRE time, it wasn't until the end that they both seemed satisfied.  We crossed the creek with NO PROBLEM!! It was super cool, I was on Rocky and Daisy was being ponied and we just rode straight across, it was great.  Time to break out the go pro!

Some days I get off of work and don't quite have the energy to take the donkeys on a hike. For those days we do free lunging in the arena, that also happens to be overgown with taller than donkey grasses lol. So its a little bit of running and a little bit of snacking.

The donkeys are good sports and put up with me insisting they trot and burn some calories. I was very surprised thus time that Rocky actually chose to jump the barrels on his own! The boy is notoriously lazy.....

Hoping for a real hike soon, with some hills. It'll be good for them, and good for me!
