Cottonwood Creek Hike & Picnic

We took the donkeys for a picnic hike to Cottonwood Creek.  We have never been to this trail before and it was pretty good!  There were alot of off leash dogs, but the donkeys did REALLY WELL! They didn't get weird about any of them.  We did have a few dogs just be terrified of the donkeys though. We might bring treats next time, if the owners approve.  There was one Griffon that had the hardest time with them, he ran down the trail in fear, I felt really bad, but hopefully he left with the sentiment that donkeys won't hurt him.  

I was hoping this trail would be good for social walks, but due to the amount of dogs and how narrow the trail is, I don't think it's a good candidate (especially with pack saddles on!).  The hunt continues.
